I received my Ph.D. in 2003 from the Since being at UA I have directly supervised 6 PhD students, 20 MSc, and over 65 undergraduate students. I am very proud of my labs involvement with the WISEST program. My general research interests are in the areas of composite and biological materials mechanics, biomedical engineering design, biomechanics of orthodontic treatment and orthodontic imaging, tissue mechanics and sports and injury biomechanics. To date (July 2012), our very productive and enriching research has lead to over 66 Archival Publications, 68 conference contributions, one patent. ![]() Dr Warren Finlay and I have written a book on our MecE 415 Busting Myths with analysis courses entitled "Ice Bullets and Killer Pennies, fourteen myths get the scientific shakedown" through Plausible Publishing, that is available on Amazon.com and on smashwords in various formats. On a personal note, I enjoy cooking, playing guitar and "heavy" music. |
